Electronic Engineer Position available at HCI

Electronic Engineer Position

•Responsible for the design and selection of electronic control product lines and
their application in hydraulic power units and systems.
•Should be familiar with the application of electronic control technology in both
industrial and mobile hydraulic systems and possess a strong working knowledge
of the latest electro-hydraulic technology.
•Must be able to develop hardware and software configurations for electronic
motion control applications. A familiarity with PLC Programming is a plus.
•Must be able to design to CAN-bus and other serial communication protocols.
•Must be comfortable presenting technical concepts in a sales situation.
•Must be able to travel throughout California as well as specific locations in AZ,
UT, NV, and CO.
•Works with responsible salesperson and/or directly with customer, as
appropriate.
•Must develop an electronic training program for our existing sales and support
staff.
•Candidate would typically possess a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering
and 3 years of actual design experience. The ability to read and create electrical
schematics is essential, the ability to read and create hydraulic and pneumatic
schematics is a plus.
•Candidate should reside in California, preferably near an HCI Branch location
and a major airport.
