Reservoirs
A hydraulic reservoirs primary use is to store the hydraulic fluid used in the system. It does however have other secondary purposes. These include space to accommodate expansion and retraction volumes for cylinders and temperature fluctuations, air separation from the fluid, and a small amount of heat dissipation. Some reservoirs also have flow channels or baffles, level indicators, and filler/breathers.
